Police have arrested a Ghanaian who was trying to smuggle cocaine by swallowing pellets filled with the drug at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
The suspect is said to have gone to Brazil in May and was on his way back to Benin through Kenya.
Airport CID boss Joseph Ngisa said that the suspect had by this morning emitted 48 pellets and was still under observation.
“He will appear in court as soon as the analysis is over to ascertain the quantity and value of the drugs,” said Ngisa
