If you have had a hankering to have the greatest fun
experience on an easy Sunday at the beach but you have never quenched

This Sunday, CBL under Mirinda, the biggest brand in the country, will take the funfest experience to Spennah Beach in Entebbe.
According to Mr Innocent Tibayeita, the head sales and marketing at
CBL, the innovation is intended to put to life the “Free Your Fun side”
thematic campaign for brand Mirinda.
“The Mirinda Funfest at Spennah, one of the finest beaches in the
country, this Sunday will reinforce brand Mirinda’s position as the
consumers’ favourite soda that gives them more choices and brings out
the fun side out of them,” said Tibayeita.
Some of the fun activities to look out for at Spennah will be
celebrity bartending, performances from the finest comedians from Laftaz
and Fun Factory outfits, Dj and Vj battles, beach volleyball, jet
skiing, acrobatics, and other games that will hand you a ticket to claim
a Mirinda goodie.
“In this project alone, we have invested more than Shs300 million and
we have taken the experience that you will have on Sunday to all major
regional towns,” said Tibayeita.
A sea of people is expected to don costumes in different colours
depicting the Mirinda variants and beating their drums as they make
their way through the various trading centres between Kampala and
Entebbe.
The Mirinda Funfest experience, Ms Berna Kizza, the brand manager,
said embodies the true character of brand Mirinda, which comes in a
variety of flavors including; Fruity, Orange, Pineapple and Green Apple.
“Mirinda is fun, playful, and bold with vibrant colors that make the
brand stand out and be loved by many. The carnivals are a perfect fit
for the brand’s DNA,” Kizza said.
The entrance charge to this Sunday’s funfest is Shs7,000, but it will come with a free soda at the gate.
