Comedian Anne Kansiime’s show that has been airing on Citizen TV Kenyan has been put to terminus by the TV management.
This comes after the comedian allegedly had several misunderstandings
with the management of the station which forced the termination of her
show.
The misunderstandings are believed to have emanated from the
comedian’s need for a pay rise which could not be granted according to
her requests.
Don’t mess with Kansiime is a show that has seen the Ugandan comedian make rounds on international events and platforms.
It has however been replaced with a Kenyan telenovela titled Santalal that premiered yesterday.
Kansiime took to her social media pages to thank her fans who have
been there to watch and enjoy her material though she sounded a little
depressed about the stoppage.
“I would like to take this moment to thank you all my ninjas that have religiously watched and supported my comedy show Don’t mess with Kansiime on Citizen TV for the last 12 months,” she posted on Tuesday morning.
However it is not yet clear whether she will relocate the show to another TV or she will stay at the station for more projects.
She is currently ranked the number one Ugandan comedian by various
entertainment critics AND fans following her continental success.Source Red Paper.
