Talk about the pot calling the kettle black! Mark Wahlberg, who found fame regularly letting his pants drop as part of Marky Mark & The Funky Bunch and as an underwear model, has slammed Justin Bieber for dropping his trousers and for allegedly smoking the green stuff. In a telling interview, Mark has dissed Justin for being “naughty” and he offers him some sound advice!
According to hollywoodlife.com, Mark rose to fame at 20 when he began recording with the Funky Bunch, so he knows all about the trials and tribulations of being a young star. And he was pretty much like Justin in his youth! Mark was a huge fan of stomping around with his shirt off and his pants hanging off his butt, so I guess he feels that he is in a position to know when he is issuing warnings about the potential downfall of fame.
“Justin, are you listening?,” Mark said to The Sun, “Don’t be so naughty, yeah? Be a nice boy, pull your [pants] up, make your mom proud and stop smoking weed, you little b**tard.”
“He’s a teenager living in a different day and age,” Mark continued. “I was in prison before I got a record, and I don’t think he’s been to prison.”
Justin, 19, has definitely not been to prison, but nevertheless Mark, 42, warned Justin that he needs to be careful, and he talked about the potential for them to work together!
“This career can be short-lived,” he said. “You might as well be the best you can be while you’re doing it.”
“Justin and I were talking about doing a movie, which could still happen. We have a great script that could be a vehicle for him to make his debut in movies, then maybe we could do something for the soundtrack.”
Mark is not the first one to call Justin out for his behavior. Both Jon Bon Jovi and Kid Rock have also commented on his hard partying ways.
Kid Rock commented that Justin does not appreciate what he has already achieved.
“The kid’s young, he’s got some money, he’s got the world in his hands, it’s just kind of sad to see him go down this trajectory,” said Kid. “It’s going to be a very long ride down. We all know the story. I kind of feel for the kid, to be honest with you.”
