Journalist’s car stolen during Friday prayers.Drive Hot News

A 1998 Model Toyota Camry belonging to the Abuja Deputy Bureau Chief of THE GUARDIAN, Mr. Mohammed Abubakar, was on Friday stolen in Abuja.
Abubakar who is also the newspaper’s State House Correspondent was observing his Jumat prayers at the An-Nur Central Mosque opposite the British Village, Maitama, when the car marked BWR 187 HK was stolen from the parking lot along Ahmadu Bello Way.
At the time of the theft, items inside the stolen car included two international passports; THE GUARDIAN’s Identity Card; Presidential Villa Tag; Valid Drivers’ Licence; photocopies of vehicle particulars, one ipad 3 Model; one HP laptop computer; a Blackberry Bold mobile phone, one ATM Card (GTB); and two tape recorders among other valuables.
The incident has since been reported at the Maitama Police Station
